Sven Nys (Crelan-KDL) continued his domination of the Vlaamse Druivencross at Overijse on Sunday.
The world champion attacked a four-man lead group on the final lap to take his fourth consecutive victory at the race.
Nys, Belgian champion Klaas Vantornout and Sunweb-Napoleon Games teammate Kevin Pauwels, and Lars van der Haar (Rabobank) were in the lead with four laps to go.
Nys, van der Haar and Vantornout all took turns pushing the pace, trying to shed the others, while Pauwels stayed at the back, following wheels.
On the final go-round, Vantornout surged and Nys went with him. Their pace briefly pushed Pauwels out the back.
Then Nys jumped, slaloming down the final descent, with van der Haar chasing.
The world champ held his edge to the line, followed by van der Haar in second and a resurgent Pauwels third. A dejected Vantornout coasted in for fourth.
Earlier, Katie Compton (Trek Cyclocross Collective) won for the second consecutive time this weekend. Also repeating their podium performances from Saturday were Sanne Cant (Enerthem-BKCP) and Nikki Harris (Telenet-Fidea).

- This used to be my monster 29er. I used as my do everything bike for the past 2 years. I had one crash on it. A year ago I slid on ice and went down.
The good: it is steel without any rust
The bad: a dropped chain yanked out the rear derailleur hanger, which is not replaceable. It might be fixable, but it will take more money and effort than I am willing to spend.
What does that mean: you can get this one for cheap, but you can use only as a single speed with an eccentric hub or philcentric bottom bracket. However, if you are willing to put a philcentric BB, you can easily use an internal gear rear hub.
