Challenging 22-Mile Loop Over Rural Roads and Brick Streets

Voted "Best Road Venue" on STLBIKING Cycling Awards Since 2002

Wish you could race a Spring Classic In Europe?
Can't afford the airfare or don't have a pro contract?

Race the 5th Annual Hillsboro-Roubaix Road Race, through the brick streets and rural roads of beautiful Hillsboro, Illinois. Just 60 miles, but a world away from St. Louis, Missouri. This is small town USA at its best.

Racers will tour the brick streets of Hillsboro in a neutral rolling start, then race a 22 mile loop that has all you want in a Spring Classic: Flat open back roads heading into a northern headwind, rolling terrain, short but challenging climbs, twisty descents, and village streets paced in brick.

Sorry, no real pave, the bricks will have to suffice! 39/23 gearing is recommended for one stiff climb, road surfaces are good enough for 700 x 23 clinchers.
This is one Very Cool Venue!
