First a little about me: My name is Mark Ewers. I am the current owner of STLBiking. Actually the site is owned by Serenade Partners, LLC, and I'm one of the Partners. The other Partner is my wife, Nola.

Many of you know us from bike races around the St. Louis area. I race a bit. Nola and I are both USACycling officials; and together we run a timetrial series on Wednesday evenings.

STLBiking is a hobby. I thoroughly enjoy spending time on the site whether working to make it better or contributing as a member. I do it for fun, not for profit. I bought this site from its previous owner in 2009 because it was in need of work. I felt strongly enough about the good that the site is and provides to take on the task of updating, operating, developing, and maintaining it.

STLBiking exists as a free-to-use resource for anyone interested in cycling. The site provides information about upcoming cycling events, photos and video of past events, and a forum where the cycling community can interact about about events - cycling or otherwise.

I encourage anyone with ideas or feedback for the site to get in touch with me. I'm always interested in learning about ways to make the site a more valuable resource for visitors.
