This park offers a little of Castlewood & Cliff Caves all in one. You'll find rolling hills between the mature trees, some downhills and climbs to boot. A lot of guys will swear it's not too difficult but it'll challenge almost anyone but the best.

The asphalt path around the first lake is OK to warm up but definitely not the popular draw. The trailhead begins beyond the parking lot on the left as you enter the park. Look directly behind the softball backstop & you'll gain access to the simple entrance to a 4 mile loop. It begins easy enough. twists and turns will beg you to go faster.
You'll shoot along a lake then back into the woods. Hey! It's a lot of fun. Isn't that what mountain is all about.
